Meadows Marine Surveyors Will Ascertain the Condition and Value of Your Vessel for Insurance Purposes
This type of survey focuses on safety conditions that require attention to reduce insurance risk, the suitability of the vessel for its intended use, and the estimated replacement value and market value of the vessel.
Although less intensive than a pre purchase survey, insurance surveys provide a high quality independent inspection of the vessel. Any issues or defects found can be pointed out, and suggestions on repairs or maintenance will be noted.
Out of water hull inspections are carried out at the discretion of the insurance underwriters. Sea trails are rarely performed.
We try to have the completed survey report written up and sent out within seven business days.
