Meadows Marine Surveyors Can Be Contracted by Either the Boat Owner or Insurance Company to Ascertain Possible Damage in a Claim
A damage survey is usually commissioned by an insurance underwriter as part of their claims process.
The survey is carried out to ascertain the extent of the damage, the probable cause, recommended repairs, and an estimated repair cost.
We will keep the insurance underwriters informed of the ongoing repair process by submitting progress reports and/or verbal discussion. Our goal is to make sure the damaged area is brought back to a like-new-or-better condition.
