 Meadows Marine Surveyors Ltd. provides pre-purchase, insurance, valuation and condition surveys; moisture testing of wood and fiberglass vessels; ultrasonic testing of metal vessels; consultation to owners, insurers and potential buyers of boats and marine facilities and other services as required.
We are frequently retained by underwriters to determine the nature, extent and cause of a damage or loss, to prepare repair specifications, to comment on costs, and at times to supervise repairs or to help a client in pursuit of a third party claim. The firm is also retained, from time to time, to prepare specifications for the refit of vessels, to supervise such work, and to direct salvage operations.
If you are intending to purchase, insure, finance, repair or operate and sail or motor vessel you should consider employing a professional marine surveyor to examine and provide a report on the vessel.
