Insurance Survey
 For owners and operators requiring insurance coverage, surveys are provided to meet the needs of insurance underwriters to assess the estimated market and replacement values of the vessel, conditions that require attention of reduce insurance risks and the suitability of the vessel to its intended use.
Although less intensive than purchase surveys, insurance surveys provide a high quality inspection of the vessel. Surveyors feel free to investigate any defect or unsafe condition found on the vessel. Underwater hull inspections are performed as the discretion of the underwriter and sea trails are rarely performed. |
