 Damage Survey
This survey, performed to assess damages to a vessel after an incident, is usually required by an insurance underwriter to aid in determining a claim.
The date, time and location of the event, the extent of the damages, the probable cause, recommended repairs and an estimated cost of repairs are provided.
Damage surveys are often contracted by owners to assist in negotiations with underwriters. |
