 When you purchase, insure, finance, register, repair or commercially operate a sailing yacht or motor vessel, you will need to hire a marine surveyor. It is important to be comfortable with the surveyor that you hire, as he represents you and is there to protect your safety and investment.
Meadows Marine Surveyors will communicate with you both on paper and verbally. Our reports are comprehensive and detailed, but are organized well so that they are easy to read. We provide a summary of the vessel's condition and value, as well as a 'findings and recommendations' section is included in every report that prioritizes unsafe conditions, defects in workmanship, and substandard maintenance conditions. Photographs of the vessel are included with every pre-purchase and insurance survey and damage inspection. We encourage our clients to attend the survey, and are available to answer any questions when it is finished. |
